Doris Jean Hampton, 80, beloved wife, mother, and grandmother passed away Wednesday, April 23, 2014.Funeral Service: 11:00 am Saturday, April 26, 2014 at White's Funeral Chapel, Springtown. Interment: Springtown Cemetery. Visitation: 6:30 to 8:00 pm, Friday at the Funeral Home.Doris was born in Poyner, Texas September 22, 1933 to Cone and Emma Henderson. She married the love of her life, James Hampton February 2, 1962 in Arlington. Doris devoted her life to her family.Doris was preceded in death by her daughter, Deanna Kay Greer; granddaughter, Leera Kay Chu; and sister, Conita Meador.Survivors: Husband, James Hampton; daughters, Connie Hughes, Debra Sampey, and Vi Frederick; six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.
