Mark Herring

WHITT -- Mark Herring, 62, passed away Thursday, May 8, 2014, surrounded by family at his home in Whitt. Celebration of life: 11 a.m. Monday in the chapel of White's Funeral Home, 101 NE 4th Ave., Mineral Wells. Mark Herring was born in Lamesa on Oct. 29, 1951, son of the late James F. Herring II and Margie Hunsucker Herring. Mark was a longtime resident of Palo Pinto County. He loved the outdoors especially fishing. Mark enjoyed bull riding when he was young. He was a graduate of Graford High School, where he excelled in FFA, and Sam Houston State University. Mark made his career in the flooring business and ranching. Mark was preceded in death by his parents. Survivors: Wife, Victoria Vans of Whitt; daughter, Kaley Marie Herring; grandson, Ethan Herring, both of Denver, Colo.; brother, James F.
