Jo Ann Millwood

Jo Ann Millwood, 75, passed into the arms of her Savior Sunday, June 2,2014 after a long courageous battle with cancer.Graveside Service: 9:00 A.M. Thursday at Ash Creek Cemetery.Visitation: 6 to 8 P.M. Wednesday at White's Azle Funeral Home.Jo Ann was born in 1939 in Spartanburg, SC. and married Frank W. Millwood in 1958. They moved to Azle in 1963. Jo Ann managed the Quik Sak in Azle for 35 years. She enjoyed going to garage sales, thrift shopping, caring for animals and loved spreading the word of Jesus Christ. Jo Ann was preceded in death by her parents; and nephew, Robbie Rhymer.Survivors: Husband, of 56 years, Frank W. Millwood retired USAF; son, Frank Millwood, Jr. of Springtown; brother, Bobby Rhymer and wife, Joann; niece and nephew, Cathy Henson and Keith Rhymer of Spartanburg, SC.; grandchildren, Dillon and Bricky Schafrick and their mother, Bridget of Azle; many other family members and friends.
