MINERAL WELLS -- Casey Santillo, 71, passed away Tuesday, July 1, 2014, in Fort Worth. Funeral: 11 a.m. Monday in the chapel of White's Funeral Home, 101 NE 4th Ave., Mineral Wells. Interment: 3 p.m. Monday in Charlie Cemetery, Clay County. Visitation: 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Casey Santillo was born Oct. 1, 1942, in Louisiana, daughter of the late Claynell Leon Joiner and Hazel Etta Prescott. Casey loved children and taught school at Riverside Middle School in Fort Worth and retired after 20 dedicated years of teaching. In addition to teaching, her love of children was expressed as a Girl Scout and Boy Scout leader, where she volunteered many hours. In her spare time, Casey loved fishing, casinos, and traveling, especially to casinos. Casey was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Sandra Fletcher and her husband, Ed Fletcher; and a nephew, Eddie Fletcher. Survivors: Children, David and Douglas Warren of Mineral Wells and Angelina "Missy" Dunn of Charlie; grandchildren, Amanda McDonald, Shanna Jo Warren, and Stephanie Warren; great-grandchildren, Bryse McDonald, Tierra McDonald, Bayle May Elmore, Kayle Rane Elmore, and Benjamin Ryder Heath; sister, Hazel "Cricket" Henson and her husband, Ed, of Farmers Branch; brother, Leon Joiner and his wife, Liz, of Victoria; numerous nieces and nephews; and a host of loving family and friends.
