Beatrice Lorenz

Beatrice Bridget Lorenz went home to be with her Lord & Savior and family on Monday, July 7, 2014.Service: 2:00 pm Saturday, at White's Funeral Chapel, 401 N. Main, Springtown. Interment to follow in the Goshen Cemetery.Beatrice was born in Hazel Park, Michigan on February 14, 1936 to the late Charles and Anna Bridget. She was the baby of seven children.Beatrice resided in Houston and married Roger Pierson Lorenz in April, 1958. She was the beloved mother of Ruth Ellen, Lorenz Brewer, and Janet Leigh Lorenz Beckham.She moved to Austin in 1968 where she spent most of her life working as a fraud investigator with T.E.C. After retiring in 1996 she and her beloved friend/companion Dennis Joseph O'Brien moved to Victoria. She then moved to Springtown/Briar in October of 2010. She loved fishing, reading, bird watching and spending time with her precious grandchildren and great grandson.Beatrice is preceded in death by two brothers: Robert and Charles Jr.; two sisters: Ann and Barbara.Survivors: Her daughters; Ruth (Donal) Brewer of Springtown and Janet (Alan) Beckham of Paige. Her grandchildren; Aaron Jacob Hage & Carl Thomas Beckham of Austin, Catheryn Beatrice Hage, Samantha Kristine Hage, Anna Cecilia Hage and great-grandson Daniel Lee Hage all of Springtown, and Katelyn Evah Beckham of Paige; and her beloved friend and companion of 26-years Dennis Joseph O'Brian of Briar.In lieu of flowers donations to an animal charity of your choice would be a great honor to her memory.
