Billy House, 81, passed away Monday, July 7, 2014, at a hospital in Fort Worth.Funeral: 10 a.m. Friday at Azle Church of Christ, 336 Northwest Parkway, Azle. Interment: 10 a.m. Saturday in Jones Cemetery in Utopia. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at White's Funeral Home, 105 Denver Trail, Azle.Billy was born Aug. 5, 1932, in Colorado City to Willie T. and Frances Moore House. He resided in Odessa for 20 years, attending Odessa High School. He served in the U.S. Army for two years. Billy and his wife, Neva, have lived in Azle for 38 years. He was a truck driver for 42 years and retired from Roadway Express in September 1994. Billy said he was tired of driving trucks and pulling trailers. Shortly after retiring, his wife bought a fifth-wheel RV. So he continued to drive a truck and pull a trailer! He enjoyed traveling, especially to national parks and Canada. Most of all, he enjoyed time with his family. Billy loved attending church and being with his church family and friends.The family would like to thank the second-floor ICU nurses and staff at Baylor All Saints Hospital for their loving care of Billy and our family.He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Doris and brother-in-law, Ross Payne, and Adelle and brother-in-law, Cliff Leek; brother-in-law, "Bud" Bizzell; and son-in-law, Pat Kasper.Survivors: His wife of 60 years, Neva Jean; daughters, Debbie Kasper of Spring and Julia House of Burkeville; grandson, Billy Poling and wife, Shannon, of Fort Worth; granddaughters, Latayne and husband, Lynn Rowell, of Beaumont and Kayla and Patricia Kasper of Spring; great-grandsons, Layne and Layton Rowell; great-granddaughters, Kailynn Rowell, Payton and Caylie Poling and Charley-Moon Kasper; sister, Mildred Bizzell of Kingsland; and nieces, Wanda, Becky and Kay.
