WEATHERFORD -- Charles M. Linehan, 81, beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend, passed away Sunday, July 20, 2014. Funeral: 1 p.m. Thursday in White's Chapel of Memories, 130 Houston Ave., Weatherford. Interment: Central Cemetery, Weatherford. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Charles Linehan was born Dec. 20, 1932, to Orbie and Winnie Linehan in what is now known as Springtown. He married the love of his life, Carla Ann Taylor, on Aug. 14, 1965. Charles served in the Texas National Guard and U.S. Navy during the Korean War. He was an officer in the Grapevine Police Department, CID commander for the North Richland Hills Police Department and later retired from the Tarrant County Sheriff's Department. Charles was a member of First Baptist Church of Richland Hills. He was preceded in death by his mother, Winnie Linehan; father, Orbie Linehan; and brothers, Frank Linehan and Carol Linehan. Survivors: Wife of 49 years, Carla Linehan; son, Hamp Linehan and wife, Cathy; grandsons, Charles Linehan, Christian Linehan and Andrew Linehan; great-aunt, Laveta Linehan; brothers, Hollis Linehan and wife, Barbara, Albert Linehan and wife, Barbara; sister, Shirley Hester and husband, Wilburn; and several loving nieces and nephews.White's Funeral HomeWeatherford, 817-596-4811
