March 10, 1997 — July 26, 2014

MINERAL WELLS -- Brittney Lynn Scibek, 17, passed away Saturday, July 26, 2014, in Mineral Wells. Funeral: 2 p.m. Saturday in the chapel of White's Funeral Home, 101 NE 4th Ave., Mineral Wells. Visitation: 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Memorials: In lieu of usual remembrances, the family suggests contributions to an account established in Brittney's memory at First Financial Bank. Brittney Scibek went to be with her mother on July 26, 2014. Brittney was fun loving and could light up the room with just a smile. She loved to be surrounded by friends but at the end of the day sleeping with her baby sister is where she wanted to be. She always wanted to be the life of the party and loved to make people laugh and smile. This is a very hard time for the many people that loved her. Her presence will be missed but her spirit will never leave those that had the privilege of knowing and loving her. The family has been left shocked and speechless during this difficult time. The family would like to give her the beautiful service that she deserves and any donation that you could contribute would be greatly appreciated to help with the many expenses that come with a tragedy like Brittney's. The amount of the donation is not what is important as any donation will help and the family will be grateful. Thank you to all those that have reached out to the family during this very difficult time. It does not go unnoticed. Brittney was preceded in death by her mother,Kerrie Sipes; and grandfather, Ricky Don Eastmon. Survivors: Grandmother, Debbie Emerson; sister, Presley Scibek both of Mineral Wells; father, Jed Scibek and wife, Megan, of North Richland Hills; aunts, Josie Bean and husband, Geoffrey Lemons, of Amarillo and Christie Starling and husband, Michael, of Fort Worth; uncle, C.B.
