Janice Jane Yates

Janice Jane Yates, 74, passed away Friday, August 15, 2014. Service: 10 a.m. Wednesday, August 20, 2014 at Victory Baptist Church. Interment: Annetta Cemetery following service. Janice was born in Lubbock on July 1, 1940 to the Fred Monroe Tatum and Wanda Jenny Self. She was a jewelry designer. Janice was preceded in death by her husband, Don in 2013. Survivors: Son, Butch Leeper of Garden City, Idaho; daughters, Samantha Burns of Mobile, Alabama and Tiffany Burns of Orlando, Florida; mother, Wanda Self of Mt. Vernon, Texas; four grandchildren; six great grandchildren; three step children; and close family friend Darrell Tanner. In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to a charity of your choice.
