SPRINGTOWN -- Faye Jennings Williams, 91, passed away Saturday, September 6, 2014. Service: 10 a.m. Wednesday at White's Funeral Home, 401 N. Main St., Springtown, 76082. Interment: Jaybird Cemetery. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at White's Funeral Home. Faye was born July 29, 1923 in Wild Onion to Tommie and Naomia Jennings. She married Delbert A. Williams on May 20, 1939 and had many happy years together. She served on the Board of Directors for Affordable Housing of Parker County. Faye loved to read, travel, and cook. She was known for her homemade biscuits and gravy. But what she loved most was spending time with her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great great-grandchildren. She will be greatly missed. Faye was preceded in death by her parents; husband; daughter, Gloria Jean Williams; great-grandson, Quint Boenker; brothers, Burnie Jennings, Herbert Jennings and Orville Jennings; sister, Callie Green; and uncle, Lether Darter. Survivors: children, Kay Wood and husband, David, and Kathy McCann and husband, Jamey; grandchildren, Lisa Rener and husband, Joseph, Shannan Muck and husband, Billy, Stephanie White and husband, Jim, Gloria Boenker and husband, Quad, and Jeremy McCann; great-grandchildren, Dustin Rener, Brandon Rener, Danielle White, Kayla White, Elizabeth White, Vannessa Pelt, Joelie Boenker, Oaklie Boenker, Quinlie Boenker, Carsen Muck, and Ryleigh McCann; great great-grandchildren, Kodi Rener, Daniel Rener, Colby Pelt, and Avery Pelt; brother-in-law, Lillard Green; and many nieces and nephews.
