WEATHERFORD -- Calvin Rex Walters, 71, died Sunday morning, October 12, 2014 after a long battle with cancer. His wife, LaRene, was at his side when he died. Service: 10 a.m. Wednesday at Aledo Church of Christ, 201 FM 1187 South, Aledo. Interment: Aledo-Brown Cemetery, Aledo. Visitation: 6 - 8 p.m. Tuesday at White's Funeral Home, 130 Houston Ave., Weatherford. Rex was born in Fort Worth on October 1, 1943 to William Byrd and Wilma Tinker Walters. He lived for seven years in the Pythian Home, attended Weatherford High School, Weatherford College and graduated from Texas A & M University in 1967. Rex was a Christian man and was a member of the Aledo Church of Christ. He was employed at Integrated Interiors Inc. in Fort Worth for many years. Rex was preceded in death by his parents; and one brother, Tommy Walters. He is survived by his wife of 35 years, LaRene Lowe Walters; daughter, Brandi Ayala and husband, Alex; four grandchildren, Zachary Heiden, Bayli Heiden, Savannah Ayala and Ruben Ayala, all of Fort Worth; one brother, Jimmy Walters and wife, Shirley, of Georgia; two sisters, Judy Wilkins and husband, Dwight and Jane Rhodes of Fort Worth; mother-in-law, Faye Lowe; brother-in-law, Darryl Lowe and wife, Althea; sister-in-law, Sandra Knight; four nieces, Ronnie Rohde, Tonya Keys, Tara Walters and Kayla Fowler; ten nephews, Russell Wilkins, Rodney Wilkins, Matt Walters, Cody Spender, Ty Lowe, Cody Lowe, Kyle Lowe, Clayton Lowe, Jarod Knight and Shea Knight; many other loving family members and friends; as well as his friends from the Pythian Home.White's Funeral HomeWeatherford, 817-596-4811
