WILLOW PARK -- Major-Ret. Jack C. Hawley, 71, beloved husband, father, grandfather and brother, passed away Thursday, October 30, 2014. Funeral Service: 11 a.m. Tuesday in White's Chapel of Memories, 130 Houston Ave., Weatherford. Interment: 1:15 p.m. Tuesday in Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery. Visitation: 10 - 11 a.m. Tuesday at White's Funeral Home. Memorials: In lieu of usual remembrances the family suggests donations in Jack's memory to the American Cancer Society, 3301 W. Freeway, Fort Worth, Texas 76107. Jack Conrad Hawley was born July 11, 1943 to Harry Ray and Carol Oberg Hawley in Chicago, Ill. He received a Bachelor's Degree in Business from Southern Illinois University. Jack joined the United States Air Force and attended pilot training in Lubbock. He flew B-52's during his career, which included six tours of duty in Vietnam. Jack retired from the Air Force after honorably serving his country for 21 years, and having achieved the rank of Major. He was preceded in death by his parents; and sister, Linda Speaker.
