WEATHERFORD -- Timothy Walker, 52, of Weatherford, passed away Tuesday, November 11, 2014, and is celebrating in the Glory of his Lord. Memorial service: 10:00 a.m. Saturday, November 22, 2014 at the Brazos Trails Cowboy Church, 300 Sharla Smelley Rd., Weatherford, 76088, with Pastor Dave Wills officiating. Memorials: Contributions in memory of Tim can be made to the Brazos Trails Cowboy Church, Building Fund, 300 Sharla Smelley Rd., Weatherford, 76088. Tim was born May 5, 1962 in Abilene and was a lifelong Texas resident. He had a long career as a Master Diesel Technician and joined the Marines directly after high school. Tim was a husband, a son, a father, a brother, and a "Pa." He gained joy in life by giving of himself and his services to the family, friends and the church that he loved and to those in need. He loved to fish, especially down on the Texas Gulf coast. John 16:22 - "So also you have sorrow now, but I will see you again, and your hearts will rejoice, and no one will take your joy from you." He is preceded in death by brother, Tate Walker; maternal grandparents, W.B. and Cora Eldridge; and paternal grandparents, William H (Buck) and Addie Walker. Survivors: He is survived by his loving wife, Janet Walker of Weatherford; his father, Kerry Walker of Weatherford; mother and step-father, Jane and Jerry Sharp of Saginaw; sons, Trevor and Tanner Walker of Weatherford, and Adam Ishmael of Houston; brother, Troy Fabas of Weatherford; sister Traci and Rick Sterling of Virginia; five grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews, as well as many extended family and friends.
