WEATHERFORD -- Ronald Jared Pinkerton, 82, passed away Sunday, Nov. 16, 2014, in Weatherford. Funeral: 10 a.m. Thursday in the sanctuary of First Baptist Church of Weatherford, 221 Church St., Weatherford. Interment: 2 p.m. in Grove Hill Memorial Park, 3920 Samuell Blvd., Dallas. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at White's Funeral Home, 130 Houston Ave., Weatherford. Ronald Jared Pinkerton was born Sept. 28, 1932, in Dallas. He made his career as a firefighter with the Dallas Fire Department and retired after 35 years of dedicated service. He married the former Norma Faye White, the love of his life, on April 18, 1953, and they shared 59 years. We will miss the many stories he shared about his time as a firefighter and the brotherhood of his fellow firefighters. Ronald was preceded in death by his wife, Norma Faye Pinkerton; a son, Nickie Jared Pinkerton; and his parents.
