Lawrence Lee Castleberry

WILLOW PARK -- Larry Castleberry, 71, a resident of Willow Park since 1972, passed away Tuesday, Dec. 2, 2014, surrounded by family in Weatherford. Celebration of life: 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 20, 2014 at First Baptist Church of Willow Park, 601 Ranch House Rd., Willow Park. Lawrence Lee "Larry" Castleberry was born Nov. 30, 1943, in Vernon, the eldest of three children to the late Lawrence and Louie Jean Smith Castleberry. He graduated from Vernon High School with the class of 1962 and attended TCU on a track scholarship. Larry made his career in sales and retired after many years of dedicated service with McKesson Corporation as regional sales manager. He married the former Angela Dern in May of 1964 and together they reared Jill, Jon, and Kris. Larry had many hobbies and among them were hunting, reading, and sports. He also served as a past president of the Aledo Booster Club and served on the Aledo I.S.D. School Board during the 1980s. Larry was a longtime active member of First Baptist Church of Willow Park. Larry was preceded in death by his parents. Survivors: Wife of 50 years, Angela Castleberry of Willow Park; children, Jill Burkett and husband, Jeff, of Fort Worth, Jon Castleberry of Willow Park, and Kris Hamilton and husband, Brad, of Peaster; grandchildren, Harrison Siegmund of Aledo, Lillian Castleberry of Willow Park, and Hayden Hamilton of Peaster; sisters, Libby Procter and husband, Ronnie, of Monahans and Ann Faver and husband, David, of Amarillo; two nephews; two nieces; and a host of loving family and friends.White's Funeral HomeWeatherford, 817-596-4811
