WEATHERFORD -- Paula J. MacKenzie, 89, beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, passed away on Sunday, Dec. 21, 2014. Funeral Service: 10 a.m. Saturday at Central Christian Church, 1602 South Main St., Weatherford. Interment: 1 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 30, 2014 at Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery, Dallas. Visitation: 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Friday at White's Funeral Home, 130 Houston Ave., Weatherford. Memorials: The family suggests that in lieu of usual remembrances, donations may be made in Paula's memory to a charity of choice. Paula Jane Butler MacKenzie was born October 1, 1925 to Carroll Allen and Pauline Lucille Browning Butler in Detroit, Mich. She met and married the love of her life, Clifford E. MacKenzie and they raised four wonderful children together. Paula will be remembered by family and friends for her many beautiful gifts of love she knit and crocheted over the years as well as her cross-stitched shirts. She frequently donated handmade blankets and sweaters to children around the world. Survivors: Husband of 67 years, Clifford E. MacKenzie; children, Clifford C. "Kip" MacKenzie, Thomas S. MacKenzie and wife, Nancy, Sue Thomas Cole and husband, Jeffrey and Patricia K.
