Katherine Jane Rhodes, 92, died January 13, 2015 at Baylor All Saints" hospice care in Fort Worth, Texas with her family by her side. A committal service with the family will be held at Memory Gardens of the Valley in Weatherford, Texas, followed by a Requiem Mass to be held at The Church of the Holy Apostles in Fort Worth, Texas with the Rt. Rev. Jack Iker, Bishop of the Diocese of Fort Worth and the Rev. Joel Hampton delivering the homily.Jane was born to William Joseph Rhodes and Ellie Theora Lummus on May 1, 1922 in Breckenridge, Texas. After graduating from Breckenridge High School, she attended Stephens College and completed her education at The University of Texas. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Reverend Walter Harrison Beste. Jane was a homemaker and devoted to her family. She and Walter were avid travelers and had seen much of the world together. Jane was a rancher who followed the cattle market and ranch operations with both interest and regular input. Her life was committed to her children and grandchildren, her church family, and friends.Survivors include her three children - Joseph D. Brooks, Carol B. Reagan, and John R. Cook; five grandchildren - Amber Michele Brooks, William Knox Carey, Katherine Brooke Scheurich, Aime"e Rhodes Lubin, and Audrey Dalas Bines; and nine great grandchildren - Xan Carey, Merit Deppe, Luke Deppe, Lily Bines, Gabriel Bines, Estelle Bines, Clementine Lubin, Bowe Lubin, and Duke Lubin.
