Norma Lou Andrews Eskew

ALEDO -- Norma Lou Andrews Eskew, 81, passed away Saturday, February 22, 2014. Graveside service: 1 p.m. Wednesday at Aledo-Brown Cemetery. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at White's Funeral Home, 130 Houston Ave., Weatherford, 76086. Norma was born August 5, 1932 in Marietta, Oklahoma to Roy and Dorothy Andrews. She and her family moved to Texas during her childhood where she attended Trimble Tech High School. There, she met the love of her life, Bill E. Eskew. After Norma and Bill graduated high school, they married in January of 1951. Bill joined the U.S. Marine Corps and Norma followed him wherever he was stationed. Together, Bill and Norma had 2 children and eventually moved to Aledo in 1966. Norma liked being outdoors, working in her yard, and cooking. She also enjoyed taking family trips to the ocean. But what she loved most was being surrounded by her family. Her family was her life and she loved them with all of her heart. She will be greatly missed. Norma was preceded in death by her parents, Roy Houston Andrews and Dorothy Hinton Tines Andrews; husband of 56 years, Bill E. Eskew; granddaughters, Amy Lou Carroll and Rachael Ann Eskew; and sister, Dorothy Jean Duncan. Survivors: daughter, Susan Eskew Wiley and husband, Jimmie Joe; son, Brinkley Earl Eskew, all of Aledo; brother, Roy T. Andrews and wife, Sherry, of Aledo; sisters, Carolyn K. Richeson and husband, Jimmy, of Benbrook, and Judy A. Wright and husband, Tom, of Marietta, Georgia; and numerous nieces and nephews.
