MINERAL WELLS -- Our beloved mother, grandmother, and friend Mary Evelyn (Cline) Beauregard passed from this life into the next February 21, 2014 in Mineral Wells, surrounded by members of her loving family. Graveside service: 10 a.m. Tuesday at Sturdivant Cemetery in Mineral Wells. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at White's Funeral Home, 101 N.E. 4th Ave., Mineral Wells, 76067. Memorials: In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the charity of your choice. Evelyn, as she preferred to be called, was born March 9, 1924 in Mineral Wells, TX to Pearl Cordelia (Peters) Cline and Alvin Benjamin Cline. She married the love of her life, Joseph ?Al? Beauregard December 4, 1943 in Fort Worth. During their 68 years of marriage, they lived in Haverhill, Massachusetts, Frankfort and Munich Germany, Lawton, Oklahoma, and El Paso, Texas before settling down in Mineral Wells following retirement from the United States Army in 1966. She enjoyed sewing, crocheting, and loved to sing. She had a gentle, loving nature and always had a smile and a kind word for everyone she met. Being an only child, Evelyn always dreamed of having a large family. She and Al were blessed with 8 loving children, 4 boys and 4 girls. She loved her family and enjoyed spending time visiting and laughing with them as they grew. They in turn felt blessed to have her in their lives and will treasure the time, the love, the laughter, and the experiences they share in their hearts. Their world is a bit darker without her spirit to brighten it. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Al Beauregard, and sons, Stephen Beauregard and John Beauregard, all of Mineral Wells Survivors: sons, Tom Beauregard of Fort Worth, Mike Beauregard and wife, Sunny, of Weatherford; daughters, Jo Franks and husband, Don of Enterprise, AL, Jacque Van Dyke and husband, Donn of Sacramento, CA, Pattie Peabody and husband, Danny, of Mineral Wells, Angela Lee and husband, Darrin, of Mineral Wells; 14 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-grandchild. ?Death leaves a heartache no one can heal.
