Francis Irvin Guerry

WEATHERFORD -- Frank Guerry, 90, of Weatherford, passed away Wednesday, Feb. 19, 2014, at his residence. Funeral: 10:30 a.m. Monday in White's Chapel of Memories, 130 Houston Ave., Weatherford. Interment: Authon Cemetery. Visitation: 4 to 6 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Frank Guerry was born Nov. 11, 1923, in Olney, son of the late Irvin and Irene Tinker Guerry. He served his country in the U.S. Navy aboard the USS North Carolina during World War II and in 1951 he married Margie Griffith, the mother of his two daughters. Frank later married the former Emma Jean Baze on Dec. 23, 1977. He retired from General Dynamics after a lengthy and dedicated career and was a member of Whitt Lodge #624. Frank was preceded in death by his wife, Emma Jean Baze; his parents; brothers, Randal Guerry and Elmo Guerry; a sister, Doris Tucker; and a step-son, Dan Baze. Survivors: Daughters, Dianne Guerry of Arlington, and Barbara McMahon of Chicago, Ill.; step-sons, Randy and Ricky Baze of Sherman; brother, Vernon Guerry and wife, Ruth, of Weatherford; sister, Frances Long; and a host of loving family and friends.White's Funeral Home
