Ila Patterson Ruff

Ila Patterson Ruff, 87, of Mineral Wells, passed away Wednesday, February 12, 2014. Ila was born on August 27, 1926 in Tredway, Texas to the late Julious Eldridge and Myrtle Blackmon Raborn. She was a longtime resident of Mineral Wells, and a member of the American Legion Auxiliary. Ila was a homemaker and loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She will be deeply missed by everyone. Ila was preceded in death by 3 brothers, and a sister. Survivors include her children, Jerry Dal McGuire of Mineral Wells, Jean Goree of Arlington, Roy Patterson of Mineral Wells, Wayne Patterson of Mineral Wells, and Wilma Needham of Decatur; 14 grandchildren; her twin sister, Lila Blackwell of Telephone, TX; numerous great-grandchildren; a host of nephews, nieces; loving family members and friends.
