WEATHERFORD -- Carolyn Wilhoite Malone, 56, a resident of Weatherford since 1998, passed away Friday, Jan. 31, 2014, surrounded by family in Weatherford. Funeral: 11 a.m. Tuesday in White's Chapel of Memories, 130 Houston Ave., Weatherford. Interment: Memory Gardens of the Valley Memorial Park. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Carolyn Wilhoite Malone was born June 26, 1957, in Fort Worth, daughter of Fred Lyle and Marilyn Lissitte Hossmyer Wilhoite. She graduated from Haltom High with the class of 1975 and married James Malone in Fort Worth on Sept. 11, 1989. Carolyn loved to read her Bible and impressed upon her daughters, "This is the day which the Lord hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it." Carolyn attended First Baptist Church of Weatherford. Carolyn was preceded in death by her father and a brother, Billy Wilhoite. Survivors: Husband of 24 years, James Malone; daughters, Hanna and Holly Malone, all of Weatherford, Heather Garcia and husband, Augustine, of San Antonio and Haley Wilhoite of Fort Worth; grandchildren, Hunter, Hallie and Houston Melendez, and Cooper Roland, all of Weatherford, and Chloe, Simon and Citlali Garcia of San Antonio; mother, Marilyn Rankin of Fort Worth; sister, Mary Sanders of Poolville; brothers, Freddie Wilhoite of Fort Worth, Jimmy Wilhoite of Fort Worth, Jerry Wilhoite of Texas and David Wilhoite and wife, Sharon, of Arizona; and a host of loving family and friends.White's Funeral HomeWeatherford, 817-596-4811
