HUDSON OAKS -- John Ashley White, III, 53, beloved husband, father, son and brother, passed away January 24, 2014 in his home, surrounded by family and friends. Memorial Service: 6 p.m. Saturday at New River Fellowship, 3252 E. I-20, Hudson Oaks, Texas 76087, 817-341-7970. John Ashley White, III was born December 1, 1960 in Norfolk, Virginia. He was raised and graduated from High School in Warner Robins, Georgia. He was a member of the class of 1979, and well known as a wonderful football player. John also played football at Jacksonville State College in Jacksonville, Alabama. After that he joined the United States Air Force, this is what brought him to Texas where he fell in love with Connie, who became his beloved wife of 24 years. They had two beautiful children together. John later opened U. S. Steam and successfully ran the business for many years. John was a loving and devoted husband and father. He loved coaching youth soccer in Weatherford. John also enjoyed playing golf with his buddies. He loved being at the lake and fishing with his family and friends. John and Connie have always opened their hearts and home to everyone that crossed their paths. He was preceded in death by his sisters, Cheryl Denise White and Allison White Rowe; grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. John Ashley White, Sr. and Mr. and Mrs. Roger Olan Shepard; Uncle and Aunt, Mr. and Mrs. Roger Olan Shepard, Jr. Survivors: Loving wife, Connie Stevens White; son, Kane Austin White; daughter, Ashley Lynn White, all of Weatherford; father, John Ashley White, Jr. (Donna) of Macon; mother, Sue Shepard Giddens (Terry) of Warner Robins, brother, Jeffery Scott White (Karen) of Juliette, all from Georgia; and many other loving family members and beloved friends.White's Funeral HomeWeatherford, 817-596-4811
