Sims Duren

MINERAL WELLS -- Sims William 'Bud' Duren, Jr., 82, of Mineral Wells, passed away Friday, Jan. 24, 2014, in Mineral Wells. Services were held at 2 p.m. Monday, Jan. 27, 2014, in Woodland Park Cemetery in Mineral Wells. Sims was born on June 13, 1931, in Perrin, to the late Sims Duren, Sr. and Ruby Lynch Shulenburger Duren. He was a graduate of Mineral Wells High School and worked for Convair Aviation in Fort Worth and a local cabinet maker. Sims was preceded in death by his parents; and brother John Duren. He is survived by his sisters, Mary Lofton of Little Rock, Ark. and Lois Timm and husband, Ripp, of Outing, Minn; numerous nieces, nephews; and a host of friends.
