Emma Helon Crowder

Aledo -- Emma Helon Grist Crowder, May 5, 1922 - January 10, 2014, at the age of 91 years passed on to her heavenly home. She was a long time resident of Nashville, Tenn. Due to failing health she lived in Weatherford, Texas for the last four years. Helon retired after many years of service from Memorial Bibles and was a devoted member of Saint John UMC. Helon was preceded in death by her husband, Fred O. Crowder; parents, William Benjamin and Annie Glenn Grist; brother, Edward Grist; and sister, Dorothy Grist. Survived by her step-children, Sue Brown and her husband, Bob, of Aledo, Randy Crowder and Roger Crowder and wife, Brenda, all of Alvarado.
