Donna Marks

Marks, 76, passed away Wednesday, Dec. 4, 2013, at her home in Springtown.Graveside service: 1 p.m. Wednesday in Springtown Cemetery. Visitation: 10 a.m. to noon Wednesday at White's Funeral Home, 105 Denver Trail, Azle.Donna Mae Anderson Marks was born in Wisconsin, on Nov. 6, 1937. She moved to Springtown from Fort Worth in 1969 and made her home there for more than 40 years. While her hands were still able, she loved to crochet and sew but after her hands became feeble her hobbies became gardening and watching hummingbirds.Donna was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph August Marks; a granddaughter, Becky Marks; and her parents.Survivors: Daughter, Sharon Higgins and partner, Joanie Ruiz, of Springtown; son, Billy Joe Marks and wife, Debra, of Indiana; grandchildren, Joshua Greenhow, Jessica Marks, Kay Marks, Tallulah Marks, and Sapphire Marks; numerous great-grandchildren; three brothers; two sisters; numerous nieces and nephews; and a host of loving friends.
