William Vernon Sisk

BOYD -- W. Vernon Sisk, 71, passed away Tuesday, October 30, 2012. Graveside Service: 10:30 A.M. Saturday at Jaybird Cemetery. Visitation: 6 to 8 P.M. Friday at White's Azle Funeral Home. Born the 2nd of four children to the late Earnest Ace and Ella Mae Sisk August 16, 1941 in Parker County. He worked in construction for more than 50 years. Vernon was a resident of Parker, Tarrant and Wise Counties his entire life. He liked to fish and attend car races. Vernon honorably served his country in the United States Air Force. He was preceded in death by his wife, Bonnie "Jody" Latham Sisk; brother, Earnest Alvoid Sisk; sons, Jody Lynn Sisk and Ricky Sisk, Sr; and his parents. Survivors: Grandchildren, Ricky Sisk, Jr. and wife, Ashley of Azle, Cody Sisk of Granbury and Amber Sisk of Azle; great-grandchildren, Caisen Lynn Sisk, Trevor William Sisk, and one on the way; brothers, Lloyd Sisk and wife, Francis of Springtown and Roy Sisk and wife, Myrna of Lakeside; numerous nieces, nephews and a host of loving friends White's Funeral Home Azle, 817-444-3211
