SPRINGTOWN, TEXAS -- Pauline Hunt, 90, passed away Saturday, Oct. 27, 2012, surrounded by family in Weatherford. Funeral: 3 p.m. Thursday at First Baptist Church, 500 N. Main St., Springtown. Interment: 1 p.m. Saturday in Payson Pioneer Cemetery, Payson, Ariz. Memorials: In lieu of usual remembrances, the Hunt family suggests contributions in Pauline's memory to Payson Pioneer Cemetery, P.O. Box 33, Payson, Ariz. Pauline Hunt was born May 2, 1922, in Winters, Texas, the fifth of seven to the late Abner and Mae Hyatt Lewis. She loved to cook and was known for her homemade pies, cakes, and other pastries. She was also known to keep a pristine house. While still residing in Arizona, Pauline was a member of the Payson Woman's Club as well as active in Beta Sigma Phi International. Pauline made her career as a pharmacist technician and retired after well over 20 years of dedicated service. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Springtown. Pauline was preceded in death by her husband, C. Ray Hunt; her parents; a brother; and two sisters. Survivors: Daughters, Wanda Lacey and husband, Joe, of Springtown and Dorothy Bonenberger and husband, Loren, of Tempe, Ariz.; five grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; brother, Gene Lewis and wife, Dottie, of Cincinnati, Ohio; sister, Dorothy Elledge of Louisville, Ky.; and a host of loving family and friends.
