Richard Danielsen

Richard Danielsen,77, a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother and friend passed away Friday, October 19, 2012 with his loving family by his side. Service: 10:00 A.M. Wednesday, October 24 at Silver Creek United Methodist Church. Interment: Ash Creek Cemetery. Visitation: 4 to 8 P.M. Tuesday at White's Azle Funeral Home. Memorials: In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his name to Silver Creek United Methodist Church, 2200 Church Road, Azle, TX 76020. Richard was born May 23, 1935 to Nils and Vera Danielsen in North Bergen, N.J. He was a longtime resident of Azle. Richard honorably served his country in the United States Air Force Reserves. He was very active in the Azle Senior Center and his church. Richard enjoyed helping others and loved to share his humor with everyone. He was preceded in death by his parents; and a sister.Survivors: wife of 54 years, Sandra Danielsen of Azle; son, Richard Danielsen and wife, Nanci of Azle; daughters, Diana Scism and husband, Tony of Houston and Linda Vitela of Fort Worth; sister, Eleanor Edwardsen; ten grandchildren; one great-grandson; and numerous friends and acquaintances.
