Jimmy Byrd Sherwood, 56, passed away suddenly Wednesday, Oct. 17, 2012, at his home in Springtown. Service: 10 a.m. Monday at First Baptist Church, Springtown. Visitation: 4 to 6 p.m. Sunday at White's Funeral Home, 401 N. Main St., Springtown. Jimmy was a lifelong member of the First Baptist Church of Springtown. He worked for 32 years for Lockheed Martin in Fort Worth before beginning his retirement in August of this year. Survivors: Wife, Susan; daughter, Lindsay Sherwood and fiance, Cody Sheets; son, Shane and wife, Alex; stepchildren, Stacy Evans and husband, Harrell, Sandy Bollom and fiance, John Balison, and Justin Bollom and wife, Kayla; parents, Howard and Dorothy Sherwood; brother, Glen Sherwood; sister, Carrie Green and husband, Charlie; 12 grandchildren; and many nephews, cousins and friends.
