WEATHERFORD -- Reverend F.M. Small, 80, a longtime resident of Weatherford, went to be with his Savior and Lord Friday, Oct. 12, 2012, surrounded by family in Fort Worth. Funeral: 2 p.m. Monday at North Main Church of God, 803 N. Main St., Weatherford. Interment: Memory Gardens of the Valley. Visitation: 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday at White's Funeral Home, 130 Houston Ave., Weatherford. F.M. Small was born April 2, 1932, in Akron, Iowa, son of the late Avery and Grace Stinton Small. F.M. was a loving family man and was an avid fan of whatever his family was involved in and loved southern gospel music. He served his country with honor and distinction in the United States Air Force and made his career serving God as a pastor in the Church of God, Cleveland, Tenn. F.M. was preceded in death by his wife, Burma Watwood-Small; three sisters; six brothers; and a granddaughter, Brittney. Survivors: Wife, Jeanette Small of Weatherford; children, Sherri Bohannon and husband, Steve, of Lubbock, Douglas Small and wife, Denice, of Amarillo, Cindy Casteel and husband, Tom, of Arlington, Linette Armstrong and husband, James, of Arlington, Lisa Gossett and husband, Dee, of Amarillo, Barry Molton and wife, Sherry, of Fort Worth, Deborah McDougle and husband, Ronnie, of Rockwall; Reverend Steve Molton and wife, Tammy, of Fort Worth, and Melody Molton of Florida; 27 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren; sister, Ramona Govig of Illinois; brothers, Roscoe Small of Iowa, Clinton Small of Illinois, Jimmy Small and Gayland Small both of Iowa; numerous nieces and nephews; and a host of loving family and friends.
