Linda Lou Watson Hester

Linda Hester, 59, passed away unexpectedly Thursday, Oct. 11, 2012, in Waxahachie. 

Funeral: 11 a.m. Monday in the chapel of White's Funeral Home, 101 N.E. 4th Ave., Mineral Wells. 

Interment: Woodland Park Cemetery. 

Visitation: 10 to 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home.

 Linda Lou Watson Hester was born Oct. 28, 1952, in Odessa, daughter of the late James Christopher and Goldie Rue Busby Watson. She married John Hester in Mineral Wells in 1976 and they began their life together. Linda loved to read but she especially loved Facebook and Farmville - she was a great online friend. Genealogy and history were also two of Linda's fondest pastimes, but she received her greatest joy from her children and grandchildren.

 Linda was preceded in death by her husband, John Hester; and her parents. 

Survivors: Children, James Hester and wife, Joliene, of Baytown, John Hester and wife, Jamie, of Red Oak, and Crystal Ripple and husband, Josh, of Brenham; ten grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; sister, Glenna Dean; brothers, Jimmy Watson and wife, Johnnie B., Hugh Watson and wife, Beverly, and Jack Watson and wife, Jo; numerous nieces and nephews; and a host of loving friends.
