WEATHERFORD -- Elma Marie Taylor, 78, passed from this life to be with the Lord on Saturday, October 6, 2012. Funeral Service: 1:00 p.m. Thursday, October 11, 2012 at White's Chapel of Memories, 130 Houston Avenue, Weatherford. Interment: East Greenwood Cemetery Visitation: 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Elma was born January 21, 1934 to Benjamin Franklin Dixon and Pauline Smithey Dixon in Sylacauga, Alabama. She was a long time resident of Parker County. Elma was preceded in death by her husband of 34 years, Aron Bryant Taylor. She is survived by her sister, Barbara Watson of Weatherford; three children, Brenda Carnley, Linda Freeman and Ronny Taylor and wife, Kathy, all of Weatherford; grandchildren, Tabatha Bonham and husband, Dale, of Fort Worth, Serena Means and husband, Kenneth, of Springtown, Jason Kasten of Weatherford, Danielle Anderson and husband, Heath, of Weatherford, and Alyshia Taylor of Weatherford; nine great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchilren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
