WEATHERFORD -- Sean Philip Briggs, 24, passed away on Friday, October 5, 2012. Memorial Service: 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 10, 2012 at First Baptist Church of Weatherford, 221 W. Church Street, Weatherford Memorials: In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Texas Bank Financial, 901 Santa Fe Drive, Weatherford, Texas 76086 in care of Mark Riebe. Sean was born February 23, 1988 to Philip H. and Kathy Jo Dew Briggs in Jonesboro, Arkansas. He was a 2006 graduate of Weatherford High School, and attended Weatherford College. Sean was a member of First Baptist Church in Weatherford. Sean was a beloved son, brother, and friend to many. His warm smile and his joyous spirit and genuine compassion for people endeared him to all who knew him. Sean will be deeply missed, but his spirit will reside eternally in heaven with Christ his Lord. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, John and Virginia Dew.
