Carol West

Carol West, 66, passed away October 02, 2012, in Decatur.  

Services: 1:30 PM Saturday, October 6, 2012, at Springtown Church of Christ. 

Interment; Springtown Cemetery. 

Visitation: 9:00 to 11:00 AM Saturday at Springtown Church of Christ. 

Memorials: donations may be sent to St Jude Children's Research Hospital, Cancer Society, American Diabetes Associates. 

Carol drove a bus for the Springtown ISD for 10 years and also worked for U.S. Postal Service in Roanoke, TX for 24 years. She was a breast cancer survivor in 1988 and 2003. 

Carol was preceded in death by her parents: Clyde and Gladys Moore.

 Survivors: Husband, Robert West of Springtown; daughter, Dana Ackley and husband, Stacy, of Colmesneil, TX; son, Randall West of Denton; grandchildren, Colton, Conner, Tarynn, and Rylee Ackley-Colmesneil; sister, Joy Hussey and husband, Bob of Springtown; brother, Don Moore and wife, D'Ann of Springtown; numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and friends.
