Melvin James Fencl

WEATHERFORD -- Melvin J. Fencl, 81, beloved father, grandfather, uncle and friend, passed away Tuesday, September 18, 2012 surrounded by his family at home. Funeral Service: 10 a.m. Saturday, September 22, 2012 at White's Chapel of Memories, 130 Houston Avenue, Weatherford. Interment: Annetta Cemetery Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.Memorials: In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations may be made to the American Cancer Society. Melvin was born August 19, 1931 in Cicero, Illinois to James and Bess Vasko Fencl. He honorably served his country in the United States Air Force. Melvin was a member of Trinity Bible Church and also of the Carpenters Union. He was preceded in death by his wife of 50 years, Joyce Fencl on April 23, 2006; and his parents. Survivors: Daughter, Cheri Morgan of Weatherford; grandchildren, Taylor Morgan of Austin and Brooke Morgan of Weatherford; niece, Regina Kees; nephews, George and Michael Jares, and Rollan Fencl, Jr.; and many loving friends and church family.White's Funeral HomeWeatherford, 817-596-4811
