Katherine Elaine Beavers

ARLINGTON -- Katherine Jennings Beavers (Kathy), 63, passed away Monday, September 10, 2012 in Arlington. Graveside service: 2:00 pm, Monday, September 17 at Opal Cemetery. Memorial service: 2:00 pm, Sunday, October 7 at Woodland West Church of Christ, 3101 West Park Row Drive in Arlington. Kathy was born March 23, 1949 in Fort Worth spending her early childhood in Springtown before moving to Arlington. She retired after 25 years of service to County Government. Kathy was devoted to her children and considered them the love of her life. Kathy loved animals, especially puppies and kittens. She was a Shih Tzu breeder but always found it difficult to give up the puppies. Kathy was a faithful member of Woodland West Church of Christ in Arlington. The loving support given by the church throughout her three struggle with cancer is greatly appreciated by Kathy's family. Also, a special thanks goes to Interlochen Health and Rehabilitation Center for the excellent care and support provided during Kathy's illness. Kathy was preceded in death by her husband of 25 years, Charles Beavers.
