Eddie Ray Marshall

AZLE -- Eddie Ray Marshall, 65, passed away Sunday, September 9, 2012. Funeral: 10 a.m. Thursday in White's Azle Chapel. Interment: New Hope Cemetery. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Eddie was born Dec. 19, 1946, in Fort Worth, to Edward and Lois Marshall. He attended Azle schools until joining the United States Army, where he honorably served his country in the 101st Airborne during the Vietnam War. After leaving the service, Eddie was a truck driver and more recently a tractor and trailer mechanic. He always enjoyed restoring old cars. Eddie was preceded in death by his parents. Survivors: Left to cherish his memory are sister, Carol Mathes and husband, Dwayne; sons, Kevin and Charles Marshall; nieces, D'Ann White and husband, Daniel, Carissa Widner and husband, Will; four grandchildren; seven great-nieces and nephews; and many friends.
