Ellen Jean Pack

Ellen Jean Pack, 87, born Ellen Eugene Strickland of Ravenscroft, Tenn. passed away Sunday, August 26, 2012 at home with her loving family by her side. Service: 10:00 A.M. Wednesday, August 29 at White's Funeral Home. Interment: Springtown Cemetery. Visitation: 6 to 8 P.M. Tuesday at White's Funeral Home. She was a longtime resident of Andover, MA. and congregation member of South Church. She was an assembly line worker at Packet Research of Andover and cafeteria worker at Andover High School. While living in Andover, Mrs Pack was known for her selfless dedication to the community and her church. In her retirement she was known to provide assisted living care to members of the congregation and provided childcare to her close friends whose children grew up knowing her as "Auntie Jean". Mrs. Pack's greatest accomplishment by far was her large family. Her children were her pride and joy. At the age of 69, seventeen years after her husband, Frank passed away, Jean as she was known, reconnected with her childhood friend and sweetheart Lucian Pack. They were married shortly thereafter and she moved to Boyd. A new chapter of her life began. As a woman of God, she quickly established herself at the First Baptist Church in Springtown and became a part of their community. Jean will always be remembered for her life as a servant of God and her endless love and dedication to her family. She is predeceased by her first husband, Frank Carl Emmert; son, John Stephen Emmert; second husband, Lucian Pack; and granddaughter, Cassie Joy Emmert. Survivors include, Sons; Frank Emmert and wife, Nelma, Paul Ronald Emmert and wife, Sylvia and David Emmert; grandchildren, Weston Keith Emmert and wife, Shannon, Paul Emmert and wife, Nikki , Andrew Scott Emmert and wife, Bima, Paul Emmert and wife, Silke, Sandra McCarthy and husband, Eric, Tina James and husband, Earnest, John Patrick Emmert and wife, Kris, Kimberly Poulos and husband, George, Stacie Bowman and her husband, Eric Chris Emmert and wife, Karyn, and Ryan Emmert,; great-grandchildren, Joshua Emmert, Matthew Berry, Samuel Emmert, Abigail Emmert, Mckenna Emmert, Zoe Emmert, Georgie-Ellen Emmert, George Poulos, Jr., Todd Poulos, Lyssa Poulos, Melaney Poulos, Molly Poulos, Amanda Bowman, Ian Bowman, Daniel Wilson, Jennifer Wilson, Jasmine Wilson, Virginia Wilson, Tianna James, Terry Lynn James, Devin Dout, Dylan Dout, Kayla McCarthy, Brian Emmert, Mariah Emmert,Payton Emmert, Jade Emmert, River Emmert, Uland Emmert, Scarlett Emmert, Brayden Emmert, and Iris Emmert.
