Anna M. Summers

Anna Mae Summers, 88, passed away Monday, August 21, 2012. Service: 2:00 P.M. Saturday at Ash Creek Baptist Church. Interment: Ash Creek Cemetery. Visitation: 6 to 8 P.M. Friday at White's Azle Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Anna's name to the Ash Creek Baptist Church Building Fund, 300 S. Stewart, Azle, TX 76020. Anna was born May 22, 1924 in Apache, Okla. to Charles and Sarah Richardson. She had been a longtime resident of Azle and member of Ash Creek Baptist Church. Anna retired from Stewart Title Company in Fort Worth after 20 years of service. She dearly loved her family, quilting and sewing. Anna was preceded in death by her parents; and husband, Billy Jeff Summers. She is survived by her sons, Art Johnson and wife, Cynthia of Reno and Charles Johnson and wife, Dianne of Keeter; step-son, Phil Summers of Ardmore, Okla.; step-daughter, Annette Shiro of Springtown; sisters, Oletha Oldham, Alice Schwengler and Dora Hobgood; also nine grandchildren; twenty great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren; and a host of acquaintances.
