Ardella "Della" Inez Linhart, 88, passed away Saturday, August 4, 2012 in a special care center and hospice unit in Fort Worth. Graveside Service: 10:00 A.M. Wednesday at Ash Creek Cemetery. Della was born August 27, 1923 near Delaplaine, Arkansas. She married Ed Clifton Linhart on August 30, 1939. They were married 66 years until his death on January 3, 2005. Della lived most of her life in Southern California. She loved plants of all kinds, but especially Roses and Iris. Most of her time was spent with her Church of Christ friends. She had been a member for 70 years. She and her husband moved to Texas in November 2004. Della went by the name of Della most of her life and was very active in arts and crafts, especially ceramics. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Rupert Towell; sisters, Wanda Decker, Nina Ballard, Thena Moore and Eula Kral. Survivors: son, Eddie Linhart and wife, Claudia of Azle; daughters, Connie Merrick of Rancho Santa Margarita, Calif., and Brenda Gorman of Kansas City, KS; sister, Mae Young of Mission Viejo, Calif.; beloved grandchildren, Bill, Bonnie, Ryan, Steve and Mitchell; great-grandchildren, Logan, Gavin and Justin; beloved nieces, nephews, friends and church family.
