Loretta Jenkins

Loretta Jenkins, 81, passed away Wednesday, July 25, 2012 at her home in Mineral Wells. Service: 2:00 P.M. Friday at White's Funeral Home. Interment: Woodland Park Cemetery. Visitation: 6 to 8 P.M. Thursday at White's Funeral Home. Loretta was born February 8, 1931 in Weatherford to the late Marvin and Alda Griffin. She was a longtime resident of Mineral Wells. Loretta enjoyed the church, visiting with her friends and playing with the great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Leon; brother, C.W. Griffin; and son, Robert Jenkins. Survivors: daughter, Linda Peveler and husband, Larry of Weatherford; son, William Jenkins of Mineral Wells; daughters, Ruby Jenkins of Arlington and Loretta Gregory of The Colony; sisters, Ethel Huffstutler and husband, Dorman, Shirley Bloodworth and sisters-in-law, Belle Griffin of Weatherford and Marge Wilson of Mineral Wells; 11 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
