Lynda Craighead Wood, 69, beloved mother, grandmother, sister and friend, passed away Friday, July 6, 2012.Funeral Service: 11 a.m. Tuesday, July 10, 2012 at First United Methodist Church, 301 S. Main St., WeatherfordInterment: 2 p.m. Wednesday, Brumfield Cemetery, Seiling, OklahomaMemorials: In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society in Lynda's honor if desired.Lynda was born May 24, 1943 to Ralph Theodore and Roberta Gaden Craighead in Woodward, Oklahoma. She worked as an administrative assistant for Bank One and later for AmeriCredit. Lynda was a member of First United Methodist Church of Weatherford. She was a circle member at FUMC and a board member of the Parker County American Cancer Society and D.A.R.Lynda was preceded in death by her parents, Ralph T. Craighead and Roberta Gaden Craighead; and nephew, Clay Craighead.Survivors: daughter and son-in-law, Christy and Leonardo Taylor of Weatherford; son, Neil Wood of Weatherford; grandchildren, Carissa Wood, Jessica Wood, Jeremy Taylor and Shelby Taylor, all of Weatherford; brothers, Ted Craighead and wife, Odalee, of Mutual, Oklahoma and Chris Craighead and wife, Paige, of Weatherford, Oklahoma; and friend, Stanley Johnston of Weatherford; and many more loving family and friends.
