Juanita Newby Rose

Juanita Newby Rose, 88, passed away Thursday, June 21, 2012.Graveside service: 9:30 a.m. Saturday in Annis Chapel Cemetery. Visitation: 8 to 9 a.m. Saturday at White's Funeral Home.Juanita was born Oct. 13, 1923, in Springtown, the youngest of nine children to John W. and Anna J. Posse Newby. She was a school teacher for 34 years, retiring from Azle in 1983 after 28 years of service. Juanita loved being outdoors working in her yard and flower beds.Survivors: Son, Mike Rose; grandchildren, Jamey Rose and wife, Melicia, Cody Carter and Jessie Shriver; great-grandchildren, Brock, Dustin, Destin and Faith; numerous nieces and nephews; and a host of loving family and friends.
