Melanie Long, 26, a loving wife, mother and daughter, passed away Saturday, June 2, 2012, in Wise County. Funeral: 2 p.m. Thursday at First United Methodist Church, 109 West 3rd St., Springtown. Interment: Jaybird Cemetery. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at White's Funeral Home, 401 North Main St., Springtown. Melanie Rose Long was born July 27, 1985, in Fort Worth, daughter of Anthony Caldwell and Marie Brown. She attended Springtown High School and married Brian Long on Oct. 31, 2008, in Joshua. Melanie liked to shop and loved music.
