John Henry White

John H. White, 93, passed away Thursday, May 17, 2012 at home with his loving family by his side.Memorial service: 10 a.m. Monday at West Parkway Baptist Church.Interment: Bennington Cemetery in Bennington Okla.John was born June 30,1918 in Boswell, Oklahoma to the late William Henry and Mary Dudley White. He had lived in the Springtown area since 2001. John was a cabinet maker all of his life and loved to go to yard sales buying and selling, and reading western books. He had traveled all over North America. John was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Dolores Kay; son, Butch Gage; grandson and granddaughter; and two sisters. Survivors: Wife, Vera White of Springtown; children, John Alan White of Victorville, Calif., Shirley Burnham and Darla Iglehart both of Springtown and Betty Weaverling of Ala.; twenty grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren; one great-great-granddaughter; sister, Ruth Seymour of Oklahoma; and many other family members and loving friends.
