Juanita Odell Strickland, 91, loving mother and grandmother passed away on Monday, May 14, 2012, surrounded by her family.

Funeral Service: 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 16, 2012 at White's Chapel of Memories, 130 Houston Avenue, Weatherford

Interment: Memory Gardens of the Valley

Visitation: 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home

Juanita was born October 9, 1920 to Lemuel Haden and Myrtle Brown Hogan in Fluvanna. She was a member of Victory Baptist Church.

Juanita was preceded in death by her husband, Marshall Howard Strickland in 2002; brother, Samuel Haden Hogan; sisters, Jeptha Bryant and Evalene Selby.

Survivors: Son, Jimmy Strickland and wife, Christine, of Lake Jackson; daughters, Bertha Barnett and husband, Ken, of Mansfield, Faye Ruggles and husband, Archie, of Amarillo and Marsha Johnson of Weatherford; thirteen grandchildren; thirty-one great-grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; sister, Geralene Strickland of Levelland.
