Bonnie Mae Roach

Bonnie Mae Roach, 84, of Springtown, passed away on Saturday, April 28, 2012. Funeral services for Mrs. Roach will be held on Tuesday, May 1, 2012, at White's Funeral Home in Springtown, with family visitation there on Monday evening, April 30, 2012, from 6:30-8:30 pm. Interment will be in Springtown Cemetery.Mrs. Roach was born on March 13, 1928, in Springtown. After growing up there, she moved to Fort Worth with her husband, Boyd Roach, where they lived for 25 years. In 1972, she and Boyd moved back to Springtown and built a new house on her family home place. Bonnie was preceded in death by her husband of almost 60 years, Boyd Roach, her parents, Abe and Dona Lowe, and brother-in-law and sister, Howard and Emma Lee Burkhalter. Boyd and Bonnie were most proud of their two daughters; Kandy Foster and husband, Bill, and Kuby McClendon and husband, Bobby, all of Springtown. Her legacy included eight grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren, of whom she was most proud. She will be greatly missed.
