James Milburn Green, 77, beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend, passed away on Sunday, April 22, 2012.Graveside service: 1:00 p.m. Thursday, April 26, 2012 at Memory Gardens of the ValleyVisitation: 8 a.m. to 12:00 noon Thursday at White's Funeral Home, 130 Houston AvenueJames was born February 28, 1935 to Milburn and Allie Mae Green in Llano. He was a long time resident of Weatherford. Spending time with family and grandchildren was the highlight of his life. James served his country honorably in the United States Army.He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and one sister.Survivors: Wife, Annie Green of Weatherford; son, Tommy Green and wife, Brenda, of Weatherford, daughter, Glenda Watkins and husband, Michael, of Azle, son, Ricky Green and wife, Kimberly, of Weatherford, daughter, Shirlen Redington and husband, Keith, of Agnes, daughter, Susie Haugen and husband, Eddie, of Springtown, daughter, Virginia Manning and husband, Michael, of Weatherford, son, Donny Green and wife, Mandy, of Weatherford; 24 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and numerous friends and acquaintances.
