Billy Gene Howard, 55, passed away suddenly while being a good samaritan trying to help an accident victim early Saturday morning, April 21, 2012.Memorial service: 2 p.m. Wednesday at White's Funeral Home, 401 N. Main St., Springtown.Bill was born June 18, 1956, in Fort Smith, Ark., to Matthew and Luella Wurtz Howard. He was an employee of Chaney Trucking for the last three years and had worked at Texas Lil Dude Ranch for 15 years. Survivors: Wife, Tina Hughes Howard of Springtown; stepsons, Eric Hughes and Shelena Bishop of Springtown, Tristan Farris and Aleigh of Saltillo, Miss.; grandchild, Hayden Hughes; brothers, Jimmy Dale and Bobby Joe Howard; and a host of loving family and friends.
